Trooper Pulls Passenger by his Dreadlocks Before Punching Him
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only)
Blytheville, Arkansas — On August 19, 2026, an Arkansas State Police traffic stop quickly turned into ...a high-speed pursuit through Mississippi County after Trooper Theodore Henderson clocked a 2023 Infiniti QX50 traveling 82 mph in a 60-mph zone on Highway 18 near the Big Lake bridge. According to Henderson’s report, the SUV accelerated when he attempted to stop it, reaching speeds of 130 mph or more as he pursued. Officers and deputies positioned spike strips near Blytheville, successfully puncturing the vehicle’s tires, but the driver continued through the city and ran a red light at Highway 18 and Highway 151. Henderson attempted a tactical vehicle intervention, but the first maneuver failed. A second intervention near North 16th Street and Walnut Street pushed the SUV over a curb and brought it to a stop. As officers moved in, the driver, identified as 25-year-old Adonerus Johnson, attempted to move from the driver’s seat into the rear of the SUV and escape. A Gosnell officer used a Taser while another officer held Johnson at gunpoint, and he was eventually taken into custody. The front-seat passenger, Merrendes Jackson, complied with commands and was later released without charges.
The situation continued inside the disabled SUV as Henderson ordered the remaining back-seat passenger, 23-year-old Tedrick Washington, to get out. The report states that Washington did not comply, prompting Henderson to break the rear driver-side window with his baton and repeatedly instruct him to crawl through the opening. Henderson said Washington told him he could not get out, after which the trooper grabbed Washington’s wrist and his dreadlocks and attempted to pull him from the vehicle. According to Henderson’s account, Washington pulled away and braced himself against the door before appearing to posture as though he might strike, leading the trooper to punch him in the face. Washington was then pulled from the SUV and taken to the ground, where officers struggled to secure his hands. Henderson reported striking Washington a second time when he continued pulling away and keeping an arm underneath his head. Officers eventually gained control of both arms and handcuffed him. Washington was transported to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office and booked on allegations of obstruction of governmental operations and resisting arrest. Johnson was separately booked on multiple charges, including felony fleeing, reckless driving and DWI after providing a breath sample showing a reported BAC of 0.17. The SUV was towed from the scene.

Los Angeles, California — On July 29, 2026, at around 6:25pm., Los Angeles Police Officers assigned ...to Olympic Division responded to a report of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon (ADW) suspect there now, at a gas station located at Normandie Avenue and Washington Boulevard. The suspect was later identified as 33-year-old Alejandro Garcia. The reporting party stated that Garcia, armed with a metal bat, had shattered the windows of multiple vehicles and attempted to strike passing community members. As officers approached the location, the overhead air unit advised the officers that Garcia was walking southbound on Normandie Avenue beneath the Interstate 10 Freeway. Officers located Garcia walking toward them while holding an aluminum bat in his right hand. After exiting their patrol vehicle, officers repeatedly ordered Garcia to drop the bat. Garcia refused to comply with verbal direction, continued advancing toward the officers, and raised the bat with both hands into a swinging position resulting in an Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS). Garcia was struck once, fell to the ground, and dropped the bat. Officers formed an arrest team, took Garcia into custody, and immediately rendered medical aid until personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and assumed care. Garcia was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. A 35-inch aluminum softball bat was recovered at the scene and booked as evidence. No officers or community members were injured during the incident.

Baltimore, Maryland — On August 22, 2026, at approximately 9:32 p.m., a Baltimore Police Officer from ...the Central District was conducting parking enforcement in the 200 block of N. Eutaw Street when he located a vehicle with expired registration. The officer ran the vehicle’s license plate and learned that the registration was suspended. The officer issued a citation for the vehicle, requested a tow truck, and began the process of removing the vehicle’s license plate. During this time, the registered owner and another individual arrived at the vehicle. The owner repeatedly denied that the vehicle belonged to him. The officer later informed him that records confirmed he was the registered owner and that the vehicle was being towed. The officer also advised him that he could retrieve his belongings from the vehicle. The owner denied having the vehicle’s keys, but he quickly entered the vehicle and started it. The officer was positioned near the front of the driver’s side door and requested that a responding officer position a patrol vehicle in front of the vehicle. The driver then accelerated forward, striking the officer and causing him to fall onto the hood of the vehicle. The driver briefly stopped, then reversed and accelerated again, carrying the officer on the hood as the vehicle continued forward. The vehicle continued to accelerate, striking the responding patrol vehicle, at which point the Officer discharged three rounds into the vehicle. The driver, 29-year-old Tyrik L. Braxton of Columbia, MD, was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The involved BPD Officer, Samuel Thomas, a 20-year veteran, was transported to an area hospital with neck and back injuries. He has since been released from the hospital and is on routine administrative leave.

North Bend, Washington — On August 16, 2026, King County Deputies responded to reports of a ...robbery at a North Bend store, where three suspects fled with stolen merchandise in a white Kia that was later determined to be stolen. The suspects headed westbound on Interstate 90 and refused to stop when deputies attempted to pull them over, leading to a pursuit. A deputy executed a successful PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique) maneuver to stop the vehicle, and another deputy prevented one of the occupants from fleeing on foot. All three individuals were arrested, transported to a hospital for medical evaluation, and then booked into jail on investigation of theft. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the store.

Man Shoots His Ex-Girlfriend Then Turns Gun on Officer
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational ...

Peoria, Illinois — On May 8, 2026, Peoria Police responded to reports that 41-year-old Cortez White ...was threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, 42-year-old Ashley Stenson. According to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Report, Stenson had flown from Atlanta to Peoria that day for an upcoming wedding when White unexpectedly appeared at the airport and took her with him in his pickup truck. While inside the vehicle, Stenson began texting relatives that White was threatening her and would not let her leave. Her family contacted 911 at about 6:45 p.m., providing police with descriptions of the pair and White’s truck. Stenson continued sending updates about their location until she reported that they had arrived at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. An officer went to the hotel and found White and Stenson standing on the sidewalk outside. As the officer stepped from his marked squad car and asked them to identify themselves while keeping their hands up, White immediately pulled a handgun and shot Stenson. The report states that White then stood over her and continued firing before turning the gun toward the officer.
The officer drew his service weapon and fired multiple rounds at White, who attempted to flee as the gunfire continued. The officer pursued him until White was struck and fell to the ground, where he was taken into custody. White was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead. Investigators later determined that White had shot Stenson five times, including two shots to her head and one to her chest. The handgun used in the shooting, a Taurus 9mm semi-automatic, was recovered on the sidewalk, while a second loaded Glock 9mm that had previously been reported stolen was found inside White’s nearby pickup truck. Investigators also recovered numerous spent shell casings, and several vehicles and the exterior of the hotel had been struck by gunfire. After reviewing the evidence, the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office concluded that the officer was legally justified in using deadly force, finding that he reasonably believed it was necessary to protect himself and others from death or great bodily harm. The report states that the officer had witnessed Stenson being shot and then had the gun pointed directly at him, leaving him with no reasonable alternative but to engage White.

Female Officer Challenges Suspect To Fight Before Chaotic Arrest
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational ...
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only)
Little Rock, Arkansas — On May 15, 2026, shortly after 5 p.m. Little Rock Police responded ...to a disturbance at a Sunoco convenience store on West Roosevelt Road. Officers were told, 26-year-old Clifton Shelton, had allegedly attempted to steal a Black and Mild cigarillo, but the clerk declined to pursue a report. An off-duty Pulaski County sheriff’s deputy reportedly recognized Shelton and purchased the cigarette for him. According to the police report, Shelton refused to identify himself and appeared confrontational before walking away. Officers later began searching for him after receiving a report that a 56-year-old man had been struck near the store. The man described his attacker as wearing a red hockey jersey and a hat with ear flaps, matching the clothing Shelton was wearing. Around 5:41 p.m., Officer Katelyn Brewer located Shelton and questioned him about the cigarette and the earlier encounter. During the conversation, Brewer followed Shelton as he walked away and asked whether he had “a problem with white people”, referencing the alleged assault. She also challenged him about whether he wanted to fight, while telling him that she had the “right people” there.
The encounter escalated moments later when another officer, Brad Forrester, arrived in a patrol vehicle and Shelton ran from the officers. Brewer and Forrester chased him into a nearby yard and drew their Tasers. Body-camera footage shows Shelton raising his hands and repeatedly asking whether the officers were going to hit him before Forrester grabbed his jersey and a physical struggle began. Brewer fired her Taser, apparently without stopping Shelton, and Forrester and Shelton exchanged blows before falling to the ground. During the struggle, Brewer yelled that Shelton had grabbed her firearm, a claim Shelton immediately denied. Additional officers arrived and several officers struck Shelton before another officer successfully deployed a Taser, allowing them to handcuff him. Shelton was medically cleared by first responders and taken to the Pulaski County jail, where he remained in custody. He later pleaded not guilty to felony charges including attempted disarming of an officer and second-degree battery, along with misdemeanor counts including resisting arrest, obstructing governmental operations, criminal mischief and fleeing. The Little Rock Police Department subsequently released the incident report and body-camera footage, while criticism grew over Brewer’s comments and the use of force during the arrest. Police said Brewer remained employed by the department and that officers’ use of force is subject to review.

Fairfax County, Virginia — On July 28, 2026, at approximately 9:57 a.m., Fairfax County Police Officers ...responded to a residence in the 7000 block of Sutter Lane in Annandale for a domestic incident involving a man armed with a knife. When officers arrived, they learned 26-year-old Nehemia Fuentes Banegas, of Annandale, was armed with two knives and had left the residence on foot following a verbal argument. Officers established a perimeter after determining Fuentes Banegas had left the residence on foot and requested assistance from the Helicopter and K9 Units. During the search, officers were directed to a wooded area off Americana Drive. As officers searched the area, Fuentes Banegas suddenly emerged from heavy brush, violently grabbed an officer’s firearm, and attempted to disarm him. The officer discharged his firearm while a second officer simultaneously deployed his department-issued taser. Officers immediately rendered medical aid until personnel from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department arrived. Fuentes Banegas was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation, the Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) used available camera footage to retrace Fuentes Banegas’ movements. The footage helped detectives locate the two knives he had been armed with prior to leaving the residence. After being medically cleared, Fuentes Banegas was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Attempted Disarming of a Law Enforcement Officer. He is being held on no bond.

Leesburg, Florida — On August 20, 2026, shortly before 3 p.m., Lake County Sheriff’s deputies were ...dispatched to a home on Morningside Drive in the Leesburg area after a 911 caller reported a violent domestic disturbance involving a gun. The caller told dispatchers that 32-year-old Eric Sharp had become violent inside the home, had allegedly pushed and assaulted someone, and had fired a rifle into the ceiling. A second caller, an air-conditioning technician who was at the residence, also reported an active physical altercation and said he had heard gunshots. As deputies made their way to the home, the original caller reported that Sharp had gone outside and was armed with a pistol. Deputies approached with their firearms drawn and orderied Sharp to get on the ground. Sharp initially appeared to put his handgun down, but moments later he bent over and picked it back up. The encounter escalated almost immediately. As Sharp reached for the handgun again, one deputy fired two rounds, followed moments later by additional shots from a second deputy. Sharp was struck and fell to the ground, after which deputies moved his firearm away and secured the scene. He was pronounced dead, while none of the responding deputies were injured. Following the shooting, the deputies involved were placed on administrative leave, in accordance with standard procedure, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement took over the investigation.

West Chester, Ohio — On June 4, 2026, at approximately 9:49 p.m., West Chester Police officers ...responded to a third-party 911 call, reporting a woman screaming for help and loud banging inside an apartment. A neighbor indicated a female may have been thrown down stairs during a physical fight. Officers made contact through the door with 39-year-old Lorenzo Miller, who claimed it was only an argument and refused to open up. Dispatch advised of prior police runs at the address involving Miller and a 31-year old female resident, noting Miller was on an ankle monitor and considered extremely dangerous with a history involving weapons, drugs, and gangs. After unsuccessful attempts to reach the female resident, officers made phone and text contact, she indicated she needed help and later texted “Help,” prompting officers to determine exigent circumstances existed. Officers used a ram to force entry around 10:18 p.m., announced themselves, and moved upstairs toward the sound of a female screaming. At a partially closed bathroom door on the upper level, Miller was heard stating he had a knife to the female’s neck and ordering officers not to rush in. An officer entered the bathroom, discharged a firearm once, and struck Miller. Officers immediately rendered aid, including CPR, while paramedics responded. Miller was pronounced deceased on scene at 10:53 p.m. The female resident was removed from the apartment, reported injuries including to her arm, ribs, neck, and other areas, and later told investigators Miller had assaulted her, held a knife to her throat, and instructed her on what to say to police. The woman was taken to West Chester Hospital and released. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted an independent review of the officer-involved critical incident at the request of West Chester Police. On June 16, 2026, Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser announced that the grand jury determined the officers’ actions in the June 4, 2026, West Chester incident involving Lorenzo Miller were legally justified. The grand jury declined to return any indictments, clearing the involved officers of criminal wrongdoing. No charges were filed against them.

Deputies Open Fire on Man Holding a Box Cutter

Henrietta, N.Y. — On August 9, 2026, just before 4 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded ...to a 911 call at the Super 8 hotel on Lehigh Station Road after Gregory Allen Kase’s wife reported that her husband had texted her. Deputies arrived within minutes. According to the family’s notice of claim and sheriff’s office accounts, 62-year-old Gregory Allen Kase, was found naked in the bathroom of the hotel room holding a box cutter or knife. Deputies ordered him multiple times from the hallway and after forcing entry to drop the weapon. He did not comply. Roughly 13 minutes after the call went out, two deputies fired their weapons, striking Kase in the chest and stomach. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The New York State Attorney General’s Office is leading the investigation, with the Sheriff’s Office also conducting internal reviews. The involved deputies were placed on administrative leave. The family has filed a claim alleging Kase was profoundly deaf (totally in one ear and partially in the other, relying on lip-reading), that this information was conveyed in the 911 call, and that the rapid use of force was unjustified given the circumstances.

Armed Man Points Two Guns at Police Before Shootout Erupts
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational ...
* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only)
Columbus, Ohio — On August 7, 2026, around 6:21 p.m., a silver sedan exiting Interstate 70 ...onto South Hamilton Road ran a red light, crossed the median and collided with another vehicle. The driver, later identified as 32-year-old Brandon Burtyk, reportedly got out of the sedan and fired toward the other vehicle before running from the scene. Multiple 911 calls helped officers track his movements, with callers describing a man carrying two handguns as he walked through the neighborhood. About 20 minutes later, officers located Burtyk outside a residence on Errington Road, where body-camera footage showed him holding both firearms and repeatedly yelling at officers. What followed was a tense standoff lasting more than 20 minutes as officers repeatedly urged Burtyk to put the weapons down and tried to keep him from harming himself or anyone else. The situation suddenly turned chaotic shortly after 7 p.m. when Burtyk pointed the guns toward officers. Columbus Police said Burtyk also fired, while several officers discharged their weapons. One officer was grazed by gunfire and was taken to a hospital for treatment, but Burtyk was not struck. As officers continued ordering him to drop the weapons, Burtyk eventually threw both guns down and was taken into custody. He was transported to a hospital for evaluation related to the earlier crash and was later charged with felonious assault. Authorities said one of the firearms had been reported stolen, while Burtyk, who had recently been released from prison, remained held on a $3 million bond as the police shooting investigation continues.
